Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard - Tim Notke

My friends call me Lasagna
Hi, I’m Katelyn. I’m a 24-year-old marketing and communications professional passionate about sports, storytelling, and building connections that bring people together.
I earned my Master’s degree in Sport & Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina, where I combined my love of athletics with a drive to create memorable fan experiences. Since then, I have worked in professional baseball, leading marketing campaigns, sponsorship activations, and creative content strategies that grew social media followings, boosted ticket sales, and strengthened community engagement.
Baseball has always been a thread in my life. I grew up on the field as a player, transitioned into coaching, and now channel that same competitive spirit and teamwork into my career. I thrive in fast-paced environments where creativity, collaboration, and strategy all collide. Outside of work, you will usually find me with a camera in hand, experimenting with design, or capturing everyday moments that tell a bigger story.
And if you are wondering, yes, friends really do call me Lasagna. It is a long story, but the short version is that I like to keep life layered with humor, heart, and plenty of creativity.
